What to Expect

As a new client of our practice, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs.  Our service will be provided with courtesy and respect.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we will usher you into an examination room as soon as we have one available.  Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

St. Clair Veterinary is Fear Free certified! This means that all visits with your pet will be a stress free, positive experience! We use pheromone therapy in all areas with diffusers and sprays to make your pet feel safe and secure. We encourage you to visit the clinic with your dog prior to an appointment just to say hello! We offer many different types of yummy treats to entice your pet. Please advise us prior to an appointment if your pet is fearful or anxious and we will offer advice and tips on how to alleviate it.

One of our Doctors will see you and your pet. She will perform a complete physical exam, and discuss all concerns and questions. Any treatments or diagnostics will be discussed as needed. Our Registered Veterinary Technician and/or Client Care Representatives will then assist you with any further educational information and answer any wellness and care questions. Any followup appointments can be scheduled at this time.
